Taking Medicine from a Syringe
When sick it is crucial for birds to be able to take medicine. Be proactive and enroll to teach your bird this vital skill before you need it!
Learning Objectives:

Understand how to train a parrot to accept medication from a syringe using positive reinforcement techniques, while minimizing stress and discomfort.

Over 10 years experience working in veterinary medicine and 14 years experience working with birds. Currently Rebecca runs her own training service called Around the Flock and is working alongside DACVB resident Dr. Meghan Connolly to provide the best chance of success when treating behaviour disorders.
Rebecca's flock consists of Hodari (African Grey), Chino (Pionus) and Artemis (Cockatiel).
